Scalp Micropigmentation in Berks, Bucks, Oxon and Surrounding Areas
What Is SMP?
Scalp Micropigmentation is the process of replicating individual hair follicles by adding natural pigment to the scalp by way of a cosmetic tattoo.
The pigment is applied by a needle to the epidermal layer of the skin which gives a short, shaved look or can be used to add density to longer thinning hair.
Pro SMP Ink
Pro SMP Ink is made specifically for the prevention of ink fading and spreading, unlike normal tattoo ink which is used for markings big enough that a little spreading is barely noticeable.
Best results also call for the ink to be injected into a certain layer of the skin with a specially made needle. this precision can be challenging and requires a certain finesse.
Additionally, Pro SMP Ink is a crueltyfree, eco-friendly product. It has never been tested on animals, is completely made in America, and is free of parabens unlike other tattoo inks. If using vegan products is important to you, then look no further for a high-quality vegan SMP ink.
Norwood Scale
The Norwood scale (or Hamilton-Norwood scale) is the leading classification system used to measure the extent of male pattern baldness. Men typically lose their hair in one of several common patterns over the course of many decades. The Norwood scale provides easy-to-reference images that indicate different stages of balding.
Folicule Dilution Scale
Distilled water is mixed with pigment using a ratio of water:pigment (i.e water to pigment). For example, to prepare a color of 20, we would need a mixture of 20:1 = 20 parts of water in Milliliters (20 ml) to one part pigment in milliliters (1 ml).
